promoting Australia’s wonderful Picture Book creators.
In the first half of the year its the Bologna Book Fair in Italy and the CBCA (Children’s Book Council of Australia) National conference in May.
This conference, held every two years, is a highlight in the world of
Australian Childrens’ literature. It seems a way off but booking now can mean savings!
We will continue to have some showroom Open Days during this year where
you’ll have the opportunity to meet and chat with creators in a intimate
space. We will also continue to take promotional stands at
other festivals and events –eg Clunes ‘Back to Book Town’ and Federation Square Book Market. So no doubt we’ll meet some of you at some of these events!
Our stand at the Fed Square Book Market will be usually on the second
Saturday of each month. Watch our featured illustrator demonstrating and
see their work projected live on the big screen in the Atrium.
